Pto Gearbox
- The Pto gearbox is the main mechanical component of the mechanical kinematic chain. It is usually driven by a tractor power take-off via a PTO shaft and gearbox drive. In addition to the sprocket, the operating torque can also be transmitted to the gearbox via a hydraulic motor or pulley.

- Pto gearboxes always have one input shaft and at least one output shaft. If the shafts are positioned at 90° to each other, the gearbox is a right angle gearbox or more commonly known as a right angle gearbox. If the input and output shafts are placed parallel to each other, the agricultural gearbox is called a parallel shaft gearbox.
